Covered Employer Participation Agreements
Click here to view a video explaining Participation Agreement reporting procedures for NEBF covered employers. You can also view a transcript of the video here.
Covered employers who make contributions to NEBF on behalf of employees in an IBEW bargaining unit may also contribute to NEBF on behalf of employees not in that bargaining unit (non-bargaining employees). In order to contribute on behalf of non-bargaining employees, covered employers must enter into an NEBF Participation Agreement for Covered Employers (Participation Agreement).
A covered employer may elect to make contributions on behalf of all non-bargaining employees, or opt to make contributions on all non-bargaining employees who meet NEBF's definition of alumni.
